IFL debut on FSN

I happened to tune in after the first fight and caught the last four. The fights were good with both decent standing and ground action.
It is definitely different than watching the UFC or even Pride. The IFL is using a boxing ring similar to the one used in Pride and move the fighters to the middle if they get too far outside of the ring ropes. I think what the major difference is the production value. I felt like I was watching a typical Friday Night Fights episode at some no name Indian casino back east. The lighting needed some work and the sound was pretty blah. As much as people bag on Rogan, I appreciate the energy he brings to each fight. The announcers for the IFL were very unmemorable.
…but despite my complaints.. I will definitely be tuning in on the 28th… to see if they have made any improvements and even if they haven’t… it is still free MMA!
