UFC Unleashed tonight showed some of the highlight reels for the fighter’s in this weekend’s UFC 59: Reality Check.

One of the fight’s highlighted was Forrest Griffin against Elvis Sinosic.

It was fun for me to see this fight because even though I do not personally know Elvis, I feel like I got to know him over the years from being on the UG. For those not in the know, the UG or the UnderGround Forum is the name for the MMA bulletin board at MMA.tv The UnderGround Forum has been around for a long time and luckily I have been a member since its inception. NOT A PRO-MEMBER THOUGH.. I am still getting around to it.

But back to Elvis, he was probably one of the first active fighters to post regularly to the UnderGround and brought his own experiences and personality to the masses. Even though he may not have the best record in the UFC, he makes every fight an interesting one.

So after I posted this, I went to the UG just to check it out and lo and behold others had posted a comment about how Elvis’ fight was an early stoppage… which I somewhat agree with from what I saw. 22 comments after the original post, there was Elvis to give his opinion:

“I had Forrest rocked several times but did not capitalise. Forrest rocked me and made the most of it. I really thought I could’ve continued. I’ve been hit harder and far worse and was still able to continue. Still, all credit to Forrest for what he did. That’s life.” — Elvis

That is how cool this guy is. TTT for MMA.tv for having a forum that makes this possible and double TTT to Elvis for sharing himself with the fans.
