Just finished watching the Strikeforce show at the Playboy Mansion on Yahoo Sports. They have a video of the event up on their page.

Overall, it was a very good show. A lot of celebrities in the audience and a fairly knowledgeable crowd. I didn’t hear any booing as is now customary on most UFC events. Though one major exception is Kendra, one of the Playmates from The Girl Next Door reality show. Never, ever, give her the mic again.

The fights had their ups and downs, some of the more noteable fights was Adam Lynn vs Josh “The Punk” Thompson and Clint Coronel vs Billy Evangelista. Frank Shamrock provided color commentary for the event and provides some interesting insight into the sport and the fighters.

Strikeforce also announced the addition of Renato “Babalu” Sobral to their roster. Babalu was kicked out of the UFC for holding a choke a little too long. Glad to hear Strikeforce picked him up!
