Jason von Flue vs Jorge Gurgel — Best Fight this season!! I really hate to see Jorge go.. I had picked him to be in the final 3 if not the final 2. Jason von Flue got in trouble in the beginning but toughed it out. I think his stamina and his reach really worked to his advantage. He used his knees well and really listened to his corner. This is probably what I would consider as an upset.

Flue comes from Chuck Liddel’s camp in San Luis Obisbo, CA. Here is some additional info about him:

    why do you think matt didnt’ like jason to begin with. he is a liddel guy, matt, rich, and jeremey horn train together. do you see where i am getting at. chuck ktfoed horn, jason is a liddel guy, and so here comes a liddel kid coming into a milletech camp.

    I wonder if Matt Hughes is really that petty.

    It probably is better that Flue switched groups. Matt’s hostility wouldn’t be productive.

    I can’t seem to get a good read on Matt.. Even the way he would taunt Jorge seemed really immature especially for a coach. He really seems to contradict himself.
