The Abu Dhabi North American Trials

Head over to the FightWorks Podcast and listen to the interview with Brian Cimins who is coordinating the Abu Dhabi North American trials.

This tournament really is on par as the Olympics of submission grappling. A lot of top name fighters have made their way through this grappling event. It is a special “invite-only” event that has the finals in Abu Dhabi of the United Arab Emirates. I think the story is that the son of a sheik came to school in the US and fell in love with the sport of jiujitsu. When he went back, he started the Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC) and eventually started running this tournament to bring the best of the best to compete against each other.

Here is a link to compete in the ADCC North American trials.
