Just finished watching the Strikeforce show at the Playboy Mansion on Yahoo Sports. They have a video of the event up on their page.
Overall, it was a very good show. A lot of celebrities in the audience and a fairly knowledgeable crowd. I didn’t hear any booing as is now customary on most [...]

I haven’t been too keen on the Bodog Fight stuff since I saw one of their specials on ION and was not that impressed with the caliber of the fighters. I think the new season has really stretched out more and got some bigger names and in this case it is Jake Shields. [...]
BJ Penn, former UFC Champion and Season 5 TUF coach, has some online tutorials at his website www.bjpenn.com on MMA training. It is all Flash-based, but hopefully in the future it might be downloadable to an iPod or something.
Josh Hill has an excellent post with videos of the training that the actors had to undergo for the filming of Frank Miller’s movie 300. They worked out using kettlebells and bodyweight exercise training for performance rather than solely for physiques.
If you like sun, surf and sand, here are a couple of place to train in the Pacific.
Train with BJ “the Prodigy” Penn at his school in Hilo, Hawaii. They offer jiu-jitsu, boxing and kickboxing.
If you are just looking for a kick ass workout, go to Scrapper Athletic Club home of Crossfit Honolulu.

He is certified and appointed by Master Yodtong Senanan to teach, conserve [...]
